Progressive Leasing Arch

A central placemaking feature that transforms the open commons of Orem JA City into a recognizable, gatherable town square.

The large green truss structure frames the city center, giving students a clear arrival moment and a stronger sense of scale within the streetscape. The design combines civic-park language with sponsor identity — benches, planters, greenery, and a wood-look overhead sign — to soften the space and make it feel more like a public gathering area. More than a sign, the arch acts as a threshold, a landmark, and a visual anchor for the entire city. For this piece we designed an integrated floor-lock system operated from the top edge of the planter: a couple of turns of a handle and the entire structure glides effortlessly across the floor to accommodate events and future needs.
